About Davis Blount
I’m an Aerospace Engineer working in 737 Final Assembly as part of Boeing’s Liaison Engineering team, where I support real-time problem solving on the factory floor, coordinate with cross-functional engineering groups, and help ensure safe, compliant aircraft build operations.I graduated from Virginia Tech with a strong foundation in propulsion, systems engineering, and modeling and simulation. My project work includes wind tunnel testing, engine performance modeling, and leading propulsion development for a UAV interceptor design, experiences that built my technical depth and collaborative mindset.Outside of my engineering work, I hold a Private Pilot License with over 100 flight hours, giving me a practical, operational perspective that complements my engineering approach.I’m motivated by complex technical challenges, continuous learning, and contributing to programs that advance the future of aviation and aerospace.
