Primary & Secondary steel structure design for LARS equipments-Walkways & Platform design-BOM preparation-Project Experience: Walkway Design, Platform Design, and Sub-frame Design for Offshore Vessels. Project Highlight: LARS Installation Setup on Paul B. Loyd Jr.As part of this project, I was responsible for the structural layout and design work, which included:Creating the existing layout and structure model of the PBLJ rig.Designing the extended walkway integrated with the existing mezzanine deck sub-frame to support the A-Frame setup.Developing a protective windwall around the A-Frame to reduce wind impact and enhance crew safety.Designing access stairs and handrails to ensure safe movement and compliance with safety standards.Project Highlight: Hydraulic Routing Design for Umbilical Spooling UnitI worked on designing hydraulic systems for a complex Umbilical Spooling Unit (USU), with a focus on tube fittings, components, manifolds, and routing in space-constrained areas based on schematic diagrams. Key contributions included:Selecting high-performance tube fittingsDesigning custom manifolds for optimized flowDeveloping efficient routing layouts to maximize space while ensuring system reliability and ease of maintenance Project Highlight: Design and Automation of LARS Deck Gate for A-FrameLed the design and automation of the LARS deck gate, converting it from manual to hydraulic operation using twin linear cylinders and a lever control system.Key responsibilities and accomplishments:Designed and implemented a hydraulic routing system for smooth gate operation.Selected appropriate fittings and a directional control valve (DCV) for efficient system integration.Created comprehensive fabrication drawings for manufacturing and assembly.Developed detailed operational manuals and installation procedures for gate setup.This project enhanced my ability to create robust hydraulic designs in challenging environments.
