ABOUT DAVINA B.

I\'m a British-born, South Asian/Indian woman and live in Yorkshire, UK. I\'m a mum to two colourful daughters, blissfully married to a patient man, and enjoy fitness, running and baking/cooking. I\'m also an advocate of mindfulness and the magic it brought me! I have a background in working for the NHS for a number of years as an Advanced Practitioner Sonographer. Here, I performed ultrasound scans, reported my findings and wrote legal, diagnostic medical reports concerning normal and abnormal findings related to general medical, gynaecological and obstetric conditions and recommended next steps in the diagnostic and treatment pathways of patients. I left the NHS in 2018 and after a long journey of recovering from an accident, trying new things and learning new skills, I\'m now a writer (in the process of writing my non-fiction and fiction book!) as well as an editor (copyedit and proofread) and authenticity/sensitivity reader. I have worked on a number of projects with major traditional publishers and indie/self-published authors. Projects so far have included both adult and children\'s fiction and non-fiction books.
