As a Store Designer, my responsibilities included the following-Design solutions for corporate and division merchandising and operations goals, indirect sourcing, senior/executive leadership, consultants, construction standards, budget, and project schedules-Assists in developing plans for merchandising, operations, construction, code guidelines, and store equipment to improve store efficiencies, customer experience, and constructability-Point of contact for the division, managing project schedules, priorities, and timelines for the Kroger Division-Lead discussions to plan and review with a cross-functional team via on-site visits, store walks, and phone and video conference calls-Coordinates division schedules with the supervisor to address department priorities-Identify opportunities and solutions for design and process improvement. Your insights, guided by the division/supervisors, are highly respected and integral to our success-Travel to divisions to perform site and scope/punch-list visits.
