WORK HISTORY
Undergraduate Researcher @Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Laboratory of AI & Biomedical Science (NIH-funded)Advisor: Prof. Junhao WenConducting research on disease heterogeneity modeling in Alzheimer’s disease using machine learning, neuroimaging, and genetic data. My work focuses on developing a unified framework to identify and characterize biologically meaningful disease subtypes, building on prior GAN-based approaches (Smile-GAN, Surreal-GAN, Gene-SGAN).I am currently developing a diffusion-based model that replaces adversarial training with a reconstruction-driven objective, improving training stability, latent space structure, and subtype interpretability. The framework jointly optimizes diffusion, prior, and decoupling losses to uncover robust disease subtypes relevant to precision diagnostics in neurodegenerative disorders. In parallel, I am developing a deep learning–based Aging Eye Clock that predicts biological age by extracting microstructural biomarkers from retinal OCT imaging.
