ABOUT DAVIDELLA FLOYD

Davie is a scholar-practitioner with more than 25 years of progressive organizational leadership in consulting firms that focus on transformational leadership development. She is returning to the workforce after taking a sabbatical to earn her Ph.D. in cognitive studies and education at Columbia University in New York, NY. Her scholarly expertise is in adult development. She is evolving a research agenda that empirically investigates how reflection enables wisdom. She applies her academic expertise, organizational leadership, and consulting experience to support leaders in cultivating work environments where they, the people who work for them, their business, and the larger community can thrive and prosper. Ultimately, Davie\'s mission is to help individuals and organizations deepen their capacity to deliver their best in service to the vision and ideals they value most. Her areas of academic expertise are cognitive psychology, decision-making, adult learning and development, and conflict resolution. Her professional consulting and practice specialties are leadership development, interpersonal communication, executive coaching, influence and negotiation, speaker training, and group facilitation.
