ABOUT DAVID OGLE
David Ogle is the Founder, Coach + Managing Partner of Dose. Dose was built on the premise that we all have immense amounts of untapped genius in our mind, and the practice of coaching is an effective means to distill that genius into simple and doable actions. By leveraging a deeper understanding of the brain and seeking a greater awareness around one’s role as a leader and their contribution, the highest potential for performance is achievable. Coaching represents the process of examining our perspectives and reminding ourselves that a different perspective always exists; as a leader the work lies in challenging our default patterns of thinking and harnessing the perspectives that enable focus on what matters.David completed his MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health and brings 15 years of coaching and organizational leadership experience in high growth organizations. David is a Certified Organizational Coach, StandOut Strengths Coach, and Certified Brain Based Coach. He holds the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 2,500 direct coaching hours and is pursuing his MCC credential. He also teaches and supervises learner coaches seeking professional certification at The University of British Columbia. Beyond Executive Coaching, David is a Chartered Professional Coach with the Coaching Association of Canada and received the PetroCan Coaching Excellence Award in 2024. He was the Head Coach for Team Canada Weightlifting at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and led the team to a silver medal, just the 6th Canadian Olympic medal in the sport’s history. He is passionate about finding the common threads within the realms of high performance and business and connecting the underlying cognitive principles. In all areas of life he is known for his ability to ask the challenging question, create the conditions for insight, and do so without feeling like the sky is falling.
