He is also actively engaged in the Midwest angel and venture capital community.David’s experience includes representing companies and investors on all types of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and convertible note, Seed, Series A, and late stage financing transactions. He also acts as outside general counsel to several emerging growth companies by providing oversight on legal matters and strategic guidance to founders, boards and executives. In this role, he provides legal advice and strategic guidance related to fundraising strategies, equity compensation, corporate governance, and commercial agreements. Through his fund practice, David assists fund sponsors with organizing, structuring, and operating private investment funds.
