I love collaboration.Early in my computer science education, I came to see that I have a superpower for finding ways to use software to complement human skill, from building random-number-generators for college roommates, to an online boutique for a friend’s mom, to tooling that made the lives easier of my fellow engineers. Perhaps the most noteworthy was when I created a custom web scraper that made it easy to schedule with my favorite masseuse…an app that ultimately became Google’s global scheduling platform for over 10 years.I’ve had the rare opportunity to operate at most stages of a company’s growth, from co-founding Nextdoor, building critical products and infrastructure, to leading teams, and creating a new engineering team in India for Google. My favorite things to do are: being hands-on building tools for internal and external business partners, unblocking and elevating other engineers, and finding ways to lead from whatever my current seat is on the bus.
