If not now, then when? If not me, then who? This is the sentiment I hope to bring to any organization I am a part of. I currently serve in the role of Managing Account Executive - Financial Institutions at Travelers Insurance. Here I manage a team of underwriters with a Book of Business across the Northeast in Financial Institutions including Banks, Credit Unions, Insurance Companies, and other Diversified Financial Institutions. We work closely with our Agents and Insureds to offer a wide variety of Management Liability solutions including D&O coverage and E&O coverage, as well as Cyber and Financial Institution Bonds. Previously, after receiving my MBA in August of 2018, I joined the Commercial Middle Market Banking Group at Huntington National Bank. There I was a part of a dynamic team aimed at providing clients creative solutions for their lending and banking needs, responsible for underwriting and financial analysis.During my time at Northeastern, I was an MBA Co-op at Wellington Management where I worked in Fixed Income Product Management. I supported both the US Broad Markets and Emerging Markets client book of businesses. I was responsible for portfolio data analysis, monthly reporting, as well as client ad-hoc communications around market events. In this fast paced environment, I worked closely with the investment teams and numerous stakeholders to ensure the proper business operations for the portfolios were being met.Before pursuing my MBA, I spent two years with Teach for America as a middle school math and science teacher. During my time as a teacher, I constantly had to modify lessons in order to relay information to several different learning styles and levels of ability. I took on leadership roles at my school, serving as grade level chair for the 6th Grade in my second year, leading a team of over 20 teachers that served over 400 students. I sat on the schools leadership committee and worked closely with the schools administration to shape the vision and goals of my grade level.I believe it is my blend of leadership experience across multiple arenas, technical and financial skills, and ability to navigate through complex situations and build relationships at all levels that helps me to create impact in any task I take on.
