Brought in to stabilise operations at a legacy aerospace manufacturing site producing C130, C27 and other critical parts. • Improved planning discipline and reduced shopfloor firefighting • Led turnaround in Fabrications: from ~£700K/month to >£1M/month, hitting a £1.5M record month • Took full ownership of a complex etch process issue (Feb–July 2025), restoring compliance and unlocking output • Transformed the GKN account, reduced noise, rebuilt trust and moved from multiple reactive touchpoints to a structured weekly call • Introduced Short Interval Control and Visual Management to increase consistency, accountability, and delivery focusPerformance improved significantly, not through slogans or firefighting, but through hands-on leadership, practical tools and setting a clear operational direction.
