ABOUT DAVID WARDEN SIME
I work with those large organisations and public-sector bodies currently navigating the practical consequences of rapid technological change. My background spans AI, spatial computing, immersive technologies and emerging systems - with a focus on what happens once these technologies meet organisational, socioeconomic and geopolitical reality. My skills are focused upon ensuring strategic and operational readiness, coordination, decision-making, workforce dynamics, technology selection legitimacy and risk preparedness. I have advised senior teams in sectors where technology is moving faster than existing structures can absorb. These include large enterprise, defence, national infrastructure, academia and international government. My role is typically that of providing a trusted cross-disciplinary perspective and guidance- helping leaders to surface potential second-order effects early- pressure-testing assumptions - making complex change incrementally implementable and governable before it can slide into operational or reputational failure. Alongside advisory positions I regularly lead and deliver practical projects and prototypes to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical decision-makers, boards and public audiences. This combination of hands-on technical depth and system-level thinking allows me to bridge the gap between what technology can make possible with what institutions can realistically and safely adopt. I work internationally and cross sectorially wherever emerging technologies intersect with infrastructure, education, workforce transition and public trust. If you are grappling with how AI, QC, XR and other emerging technologies translate into real organisational risk and readiness, I’m happy to have a conversation.
