Manage a multi-million dollar waste-to-energy facility providing dependable, environmentally safe disposal of everyday household and business waste for Westchester County, using the waste as local fuel to generate clean, renewable electricity. Maintain NYISO and NERC Certifications. Station interface with the transmission and distribution organization, with regulatory and industry representatives, and with customer and general public on a variety of matters. Manages the financial results and requirements of the plant\'s business and operations to ensure that revenue and expense goals are met (or exceeded) as established in the annual business plan. Oversees the development of capital and operating budgets. Provides for business projections and financial impacts as required. Develops an annual operating budget for the facility with input from the Senior Leadership team, Regional VP, finance, operations and maintenance departments. Sets goals and objectives for the plant for financial, environmental, health and safety, and personnel results. Inspects plant machinery and equipment; inspects ongoing activities for safety and environmental compliance, and for adherence to standard operating procedures. Understands and implements facility\'s environmental operating permits, and ensures compliance with applicable environmental standards and regulations. Maintain and continuously strives to improve operational condition and performance of the facility. Perform, Analyze, and Review Root Cause Analyses While serving as Plant Manager filled the role of Maintenance Manager for a period of 16 months.
