About David Pulliam
I operate at the intersection of revenue generation, platform economics, and financial infrastructure. My experience spans JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, and Coinbase, where I’ve focused on how large-scale platforms acquire activity, monetize it, and ultimately move toward owning the infrastructure layer of their respective markets. At JPMorgan, I worked within the Commercial & Investment Bank, a ~$70B+ revenue segment, originating opportunities across fundraising, banking, and capital markets. My role centered on building pipeline, developing founder and investor relationships, and converting that activity into broader client engagement across payments, treasury, and financing products. At Amazon, I was focused on marketplace monetization, helping sellers grow through adoption of advertising and fulfillment services within a ~$350B+ North America segment. That experience shaped my understanding of how platforms increase lifetime value by embedding themselves deeper into their customers’ operations. At Coinbase, I moved into financial products, supporting the launch and adoption of advanced trading and derivatives. There, I saw how transaction-driven revenue models depend on user engagement, retention, and product design, and how platforms evolve toward more stable, recurring revenue streams.Across these roles, a consistent pattern emerged. Platforms first aggregate demand, then monetize it, and eventually move to control the underlying rails. That progression has shaped how I think about businesses and markets today.I’m particularly interested in companies building at the infrastructure layer, where money moves, where transactions are routed, and where value is captured at scale.

I\'m building a financial services distribution platform focused on sales infrastructure and leadership development. My background spans Amazon operations, Coinbase product, and JP Morgan private markets, which shaped how I approach this work - as a systems problem centered on customer acquisition, talent development, and scalable infrastructure. The long-term vision is to build a multi-product financial distribution engine that supports financial access, education, and capital pathways, particularly for underserved communities.Right now, my focus is on building the foundation:• Recruiting and training high-performance sales talent• Developing first-time leaders• Designing repeatable operating systems• Creating a scalable distribution organizationI\'m particularly interested in the intersection of financial access, sales infrastructure, and leadership development - and how modern distribution models can unlock opportunity for both customers and operators. If you\'re a builder, sales professional, or operator interested in financial services, feel free to connect.
