Partner at Paris Smith LLP specialising in employment law and all aspects of the working relationship including- • Employees • Self-employed consultants • Partners and LLP members I am part of the employment law team at Paris Smith. We now have 9 specialist employment solicitors in the team. I generally deal with the more complex and higher value cases. Myrecent employment tribunal claims have included multi day/week whistleblowing claims (from both sides) and discrimination complaints. I also handle a significant number of senior employee/director exits and act for employers (wishing to exit someone) and employees who wish to exit (or are being forced to leave). I deal with a lot of restrictive covenant and confidentiality cases. As part of this, I will advise employers faced with a threat as well as employees who are planning to leave and compete. We have secured injunctions for employers in cases where ex employees have acted unlawfully and are unwilling to settle on acceptable terms. I have a particular interest in- • Employment Tribunal advocacy and I have appeared in Tribunals all over the UK. • Restrictive covenant actions • Senior level exits and complex settlement agreements • Public speaking and training. • Mediation - I am an ADR accredited mediator. • Sports - I have acted for numerous football clubs as well as in golf and F1.
