About Dave Marsh
Bitten by the photography bug at the age of 13, I have lived the dream of merging my passion with my career. Beginning in the camera technology business in 1982, my career evolved into many areas of the photo industry, such as; camera repair, photo retail sales, photo lab operation, professional photography, underwater photography, as well as leadership positions in the photo marketing and camera technology trade associations. This broad industry experience created a unique understanding of multiple markets within the photography business and is the key to delivering upon my guiding sales philosophy; understand the customer\'s needs and expectations and recommend products and services that exceed them. Then continuously strive to improve upon these product and service offerings with the goal of strong financial performance for all parties.Much of the personal growth I\'ve experienced in the photo industry is directly attributable to my involvement with the Photo Marketing Association. Having served as president of both the National Association of Photographic Equipment Technicians (NAPET) and the New England Division of the Photo Marketing Association has enabled networking opportunities and mentoring relationships with the best people this industry has to offer. It was truly an honor to be awarded the United States Territorial Vice President (TVP) of the year award from the Photo Marketing Association in 2001.Favorite Quote: Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
