ABOUT DAVID M. PORTER
As a College Completion Coordinator at Breakthrough Central Texas, I work with a team of dedicated professionals to support first-generation college students from low-income communities in achieving their academic and career goals. I have a Master of Science degree in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from the University of Southern California, where I learned how to apply creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. I also have over nine years of experience as an Assistant Coach at St. Francis School, where I mentor and motivate young athletes in football, basketball, and track and field. I have developed strong communication, interpersonal, and Salesforce Lightning skills, which enable me to effectively manage and track student data, collaborate with internal and external partners, and advocate for student needs and interests.
