ABOUT DAVID PORTER

David Porter is the Owner and Managing Director of Living Assistance Services in Toronto. He founded the agency in David’s career began with the Residential Management Division of Cadillac Development Corporation in the early 70’s and his responsibilities grew with the company which became Cadillac Fairview in 1974. In 1982, Cadillac Fairview sold their residential portfolio and Porter moved to the successor company, Maysfield Property Management where he became Vice President in 1989. In the late 90’s, David filled the role as Vice President of Peel Management Services and subsequently became the General Manager at Pinedale Properties. During his multi-year career, David has served on or worked for a number of Boards including, The Greater Toronto Apartment Association, The Richmond Hill Economical Homes Corporation, The Rose Town Non-Profit Homes Corporation and The York School. In David opened his home care agency, Living Assistance Services, which he ultimately began to franchise in 2011 under the banner of, and as President of, Sherring Porter Limited. For almost twenty years, David and his team at Living Assistance Services has provided first-rate home care service for over 1.5 million hours to hundreds of clients in the GTA and surrounding areas.
