Known for building high-performing teams anddelivering innovative, client-focused solutions, David has led multimillion-dollar programs insectors ranging from child welfare and infectious disease prevention to refugee support andearly childhood development. His leadership style is grounded in humility and service — hebelieves leadership must be earned through dignity, resilience, and a deep commitment to bothmission and team.David’s career began in Cameroon as a Peace Corps volunteer, where he partnered withfarmers to implement sustainable agroforestry practices. That formative experience ignited apassion for collaboration and social change, leading to impactful roles at Population ServicesInternational and Catholic Relief Services. At CRS, David oversaw an $86 million portfolio andled teams of over 100 staff across countries like Sierra Leone and Guinea, as well as virtuallyand domestically — including legal and wellness programs for Afghan refugees duringOperation Allies Welcome.He holds a Master’s in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute ofInternational Studies and a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara. Now based inMaryland, David is eager to bring his global perspective to The Light House in Annapolis,contributing to its mission at a pivotal moment for the organization and its clients. He’spassionate about addressing homelessness with empathy and strategic leadership, especially asnational attention turns toward this urgent issue.David continues to grow professionally, seeking opportunities in nonprofit leadership andlanguage proficiency. Outside of work, he’s a proud husband, father, dog owner, runner, avidtraveler and vinyl record collector — but nothing brings him more joy than his one-year-oldgrandson, whose laughter lights up every room.
