Educational Psychologist @Derbyshire County Council

My role as an Educational Psychologist is varied and rewarding. I work closely with a group of schools, supporting SENCOs and staff in their work with pupils with additional needs. This includes everything from individual assessment and consultation to whole-school training and development. I also lead group supervision sessions for Designated Safeguarding Leads and ELSAs, helping to strengthen reflective practice. In addition, I collaborate with parents, families, and professionals from external agencies to ensure joined-up support. At the heart of all this are the children, who make the work not only meaningful, but continually thought-provoking and enjoyable.
