Competencies: • Work with cross cultural team on-site and off-site to deliver complex vehicle products for customers. • Analyze customer/stakeholder needs and expectations to establish, interpret and manage the requirements of a system to set NVH performance targets to meet customer expectations. • Utilize/Develop new technologies to solve NVH issues in vehicles and products. • Generate multiple concepts and demonstrate multiple options that meets a set of needs. • Interface management across system and component boundaries, eg: NVH, thermal, electrical, ergonomics, etc. • Test-based and simulation-based modeling of a system, phenomenon or process. • Plan system integration and validation of systems/products in a logical manner and qualification against the requirements. Technical Expertise: • Vehicle NVH performance target setting and cascading to systems and components. • Vehicle Interior noise and exterior noise testing and simulation. • NVH of Electric Powertrain systems. • Acoustic materials testing. • Duct acoustics, Room acoustics, Structural vibration and acoustics. • Component-based Transfer Path Analysis (TPA), Blocked forces, Free velocities, Virtual Point Transformation, Substructuring. • Broadband characterization using hybrid FE/SEA/Ray-tracing methods.
