I’m a scientist-founder working at the intersection of biotechnology, materials science, and AI for science. As Co-Founder, CTO, and CPO of Bolt Threads, I’ve led the translation of recombinant protein materials from lab concept to industrial-scale biomanufacturing—spanning sequence design, strain engineering, process optimization, and consumer applications.My current focus is on building data-driven design engines for protein materials, linking sequence–structure–property relationships to mechanical, optical, and surface properties.
