I work in an on-site hybrid post supporting the permanent and fixed term contract hire of IT/Tech staffing across the UK for all the Sky departments, with particular focus on NowTV, Sky Showcase and Peacock. Incorporating Sales and Service Depts, Cyber, DevOps, SRE and Martech. Key responsibilities include;• Regular meetings with stakeholders, providing market insight, taking job briefing calls, advising on salaries using tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron and Salary Survey.• Heading up the recruitment team, coordinating the other 4 people within my team that supports the Sales and Service department, which includes holding a weekly presentation across 15 stakeholders, delivering information about updates, successes and where information or any blockers, or issues etc.• Being responsible for an extremely fast paced hiring area where I have hired over 10 people per month on average. “Always On” roles include Frontend Developers (JavaScript, React) and Backend Developers (Python, Scala) I also recruit across Cyber Security, Dev Ops, Product Owners, Project Manager’s, BA’s, Scrum Masters, Engineer Managers and many more.• I manage approx; 20+ roles at any one time and expected to fill 8 roles per month.• I use many direct sourcing methods including; LinkedIn, Broadbean, Cord, Hackajob and others.• I have worked with various ATS, starting with Taleo, before Sky migrated to Workday in 2022. I am now familiar with all areas of the selection and hiring tools associated with both systems and lead as the team subject matter expert.• I have had responsibilities for vendor management, working with a preferred supplier list (PSL) of recruitment agencies. This has involved vetting suppliers’ ability to assist, co-ordinating multiple agency briefing calls with stakeholders, ATS management and ensuring process is followed correctly, offer management and providing stakeholder reports on performance of suppliers.
