   The primary role of the Cyber Security Issue Manager is to facilitate the prioritization of identified security issues and form working groups of SMEs to identify all areas globally where the issue may exist and determine an acceptable fix for the issue to meet both security and business requirements when possible. If a fix is not possible, determine if mitigating controls can be implemented. When a fix is not possible, the issue will be added to the GIS Risk Register for tracking and prioritization of future investment. When a fix is possible, this role track actions and their status to drive the remediation of the issue. This role interfaces with many other teams, including and not limited to, IT Problem Management, Global and Local IT Operations, Cyber Security, C/BISO and Service Executives.
