I’m David Carruth, an operations and business systems analyst with a passion for making technology work smarter for people. After a 20-year career in the United States Air Force, I’ve built a second chapter where I thrive at the intersection of operations, analysis, and IT—helping teams deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions that actually serve the people who use them.One of my core strengths is being bilingual in two worlds: I translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions for developers, and I just as easily explain the benefits of new technologies in ways that make sense for end users. That ability to bridge the gap between business and technology has become the foundation of my work—ensuring systems are not only functional, but practical, intuitive, and aligned with organizational goals.My current role allows me to blend technical expertise with process improvement and operational insights. Developers often look to me to clarify what the software needs to accomplish, while stakeholders rely on me to understand their business, processes, and the “why” behind what they do, so the solutions we deliver align with both technical requirements and operational needs. I enjoy identifying bottlenecks, simplifying workflows, and introducing improvements that save time and resources. Whether it’s building out a new capability in the Power Platform, refining a process in quality assurance, or aligning data flows with business rules, I focus on making systems deliver meaningful results.My time in the Air Force doesn’t define me, but it shaped me. Leading diverse teams, managing complex programs, and directing large-scale training initiatives taught me how to align people, processes, and technology toward a clear mission. Those lessons continue to guide how I approach every project today—with structure, detail, and a focus on impact.I love what I do, and I’m grateful to be in a place where operations, analysis, and technology come together to make a real impact. While I’m not actively seeking new opportunities, I always welcome conversations with fellow professionals—especially other veterans navigating their own transitions.
