ABOUT DAVID CALHOUN
David M. Calhoun has practiced in the legal fields of corporate finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions for over 28 years. He currently is currently a Partner in the Corporate Group at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, one of the leading law firms in the country. He serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Chair of the Private Equity and M&A practice group. He has served on the firm\'s Executive Committee. Mr. Calhoun has significant experience in public and private securities and corporate finance, including representation of issuers, underwriters, and investors. Mr. Calhoun has been active in mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies, including acting as counsel in transactions ranging in size from less than to over $1 billion. He has represented companies in numerous industries, including technology, biotechnology, green tech, medical devices, business process outsourcing, manufacturing, real estate and financial institutions. Mr. Calhoun is actively engaged in the Atlanta technology community through various leadership roles with professional associations. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta CEO Council, the Steering Committee for the TAG FinTech Society and was recently named among the nation’s “Recommended Lawyers” by The Legal 500. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Holy Innocents\' Episcopal School (and serves as Vice Chair) and on the Leadership Council of Zoo Atlanta.
