1. Postdoctoral Researcher (Battery Materials)

   Leading experimental work to support ongoing advancements in lithium plating detection, degradation inhomogeneities, electrode blends, and temperature dependent behavior• Continually improving a structured half-cell database to feed an in-house mechanistic model for full-cell emulation for diagnosis and prognostics• Managing and supporting all cycling experiments (over 60 test channels, 5 test stations, 24/7 operation)• Performing non-invasive and post-mortem battery characterization techniques (RPT, GITT, HPPC, EIS, SEM/EDS, XRD, Raman)• Analyzing internal and external (client/company) datasets to diagnose degradation modes in aged cells, with a strong emphasis on dQdV (ICA) based diagnostics• Building and refining MATLAB data pipelines to automate cycler data ingestion, cleaning, visualization, and reporting across large cell populations, significantly reducing analysis turnaround time and improving cross-program consistency• Developing half-cell and full-cell (multi form factor) test plans on Lithium-ion (LFP, NMC, NCA, GIC…) and Sodium-ion batteries to validate lifespan, safety, and reliability• Mentored 3 Ph.D. student and 4 undergraduate students/interns
