About David Marshall

For the last several years I have served as a Director and Senior Qualified Plan Consultant with Robert W. Baird. I\'m very proud to work with like-minded professionals as part of the Marshall Amato Buxton Group in Baird\'s Portland, Oregon branch. Prior to joining Baird in 2011, I was a Corporate Client Group Director with Smith Barney, having begun my career in 1983. As a group, we focus on the management and design of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. He is responsible for over 40 corporate plans across the country with over plan participants along with private wealth management for individuals. We attempt to bring a level of knowledge and experience that will be beneficial to the plan sponsor as well as the employees. I am accredited as a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist by the College for Financial Planning and as a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant by the National Association of Plan Advisors and its parent organization, ASPPA. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 David was named to the Financial Times list of “Elite 401(k) Advisors.” I am pleased to serve as a trustee for the David Campbell Memorial Foundation for the last several years. I reside in Portland, Oregon with my wife KC. My daughter Cece is a second year student in the Erasmus Mundus Graduate program in Europe while my son Clint recently graduated from Washington State University and is pursuing a career in physical therapy.
