ABOUT DAVID SEABROOK

I lead the Digital Sustainability Portfolio at SLB, where my mission is to help industries transform how they measure, manage, and reduce their environmental impact through digital technology. By combining advanced digital platforms, data intelligence, and domain expertise, I work with clients to operationalize sustainability ambitions.With over 28 years of global leadership experience across digital strategy, software innovation, and operations, I lead teams that work to transform our industry from within. In my digital sustainability role, we focus on helping customer accelerate their decarbonization journey through measurement and reporting tools with specific focus on methane management and abatement. In addition, we provide decarbonization planning tools that create optimized MACC curves to help clients action their decarbonization ambitions! My career spans roles in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, leading diverse teams across Schlumberger (now SLB) and WesternGeco (SLB company). This global perspective allows me to bridge the gap between local challenges and enterprise-wide sustainability strategies.I’m passionate about advancing digital sustainability as a growth driver—helping companies not only meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations but also unlock new efficiencies, innovation, and long-term value. My passion lies in connecting data-driven insights, advanced analytics, and AI tools with real-world energy transition challenges. I collaborate across functions—R&D, operations, IT, and external partners—to bring impactful solutions to market, managing diverse teams and portfolios that align business growth with net-zero ambitions.I’m dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and actionable sustainability across the energy value chain.
