As a passionate student at Brigham Young University, my academic journey has evolved from Pre-Med to a focused ambition in the field of sports psychology, with a special interest in performance enhancement. With a major in Exercise & Wellness and a minor in Management, my education lays a strong foundation for pursuing a master\'s degree in Sports/Performance Psychology. This path reflects my deep-seated interest in the mental and physical aspects of athletic performance, and my commitment to helping athletes achieve their highest potential. My transition from a potential medical career to sports psychology is inspired by a desire to combine my love for sports, wellness, and the intricacies of mental resilience and peak performance. In line with this passion, I am excited to announce my role as an Assistant Basketball Coach emphasizing in Strength & Conditioning at a local high school. These positions will not only allow me to apply and expand my knowledge in real-world settings but also to positively impact young athletes\' lives by enhancing their physical conditioning and mental fortitude. In addition to my academic pursuits and coaching responsibilities, I am actively seeking mentorship in the field of sports psychology. I am eager to connect with experienced professionals who can provide guidance, share insights, and help me navigate this exciting career path. My experiences as a Recruiter and Team Lead have endowed me with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, which I aim to further develop as I step into the realm of sports psychology.
