ABOUT DAVID MAARSE
Mr. David J Maarse, P.Eng. has more than 30 years of experience in the provision of water resource and environmental professional services. Key elements of this experience include: • Core technical competency in mine water management and water resources engineering that leverages skill sets in hydrology, open channel hydraulics, numerical modelling, impact analysis, best management practices and engineering design. • Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams with functional experience integrating hydrogeology, geochemistry, water quality and treatment for the purposes of both modelling and evaluation. This work has informed both impact assessment and water management strategy. • Breadth of experience with regulatory and environmental assessment processes across a range of countries, including Canada, Chile and Peru.
