Throughout my entire career, I have always been praised for my phenomenal problem-solving and listening skills, which has served me well in mediation, customer service, and now employee relations. Employees feel comfortable confiding in me and I know how to manage and diffuse conflict in professional settings. Most importantly, as a result of surviving and stopping a workplace violence incident using the same conflict resolution techniques I have taught, I know how critical it is to be able to identify and prevent these issues from happening long before they get to that point.    I advocate for employee safety, resulting in new safety initiative implementation for increased employee protection. I also oversee the safety operations of forklifts and commercial vehicles in addition to conducting inspections for safety issues. As a result, I have enhanced safety measures and prevented potential employee accidents.I develop safety-themed activities for all 200+ plant employees in collaboration with the Safety Director and I spearheaded an internal safety slogan contest for the winner’s design to be displayed throughout all plant departments.
