About David Lyon

David Lyon received his B.S. in Chemistry from Western Washington University and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oregon. Following a Post-Doctoral stint at the California Institute of Technology, David joined Bend Research as a Research Chemist. During his tenure at Bend Research he has held positions of increasing responsibility culminating in his current role as Senior Vice President, Research. David has been involved in numerous technology innovation efforts including development of amorphous dispersions, modified release formulations, nanotechnology and formulation and processing of proteins and vaccines. He has also led market and business development efforts at Bend Research. David has 34 U.S. Patents and Patent Applications, 28 publications and has contributed to 4 book chapters.
