About David Keptsi

I am currently the Director of Product for PolyPlatform, a civic engagement app that allows municipalities to digitize their constituent services and improve the way they communicate with their residents. We hope to ultimately revolutionize the way our democracy responds to the needs of its people.I am highly interested in emerging technology, particularly new applications for the distributed ledger technology utilized by blockchain as well as generative AI. At Poly Platform I hope to develop AI and Blockchain based features as additional offerings for our customers.I was previously a Senior Knowledge Analyst at the BCG Center for Digital Government, and an intern at multiple startups and as well as on Capitol Hill. Prior to my MBA at Georgetown, I also worked as a Research Analyst at the Boston Consulting Group specializing in the Energy practice area. I have extensive experience in market analysis using a variety of proprietary databases such as Bloomberg, GlobalData, Capital IQ and Thomson Reuters Eikon. During my time at BCG, I was able to receive certificates in climate change and digital transformation from taking sponsored executive education classes at the Harvard Kennedy School. I have worked on various research assignments including but not limited to-Supporting case teams on market scoping for firms looking to expand operations into new regions-Oil and Gas sector commodity price/volume analysis to allow case teams to understand market shocks and the impact of new regulation-Research on emissions trading and regulation to support both Corporate and Government clients on climate change policy-Various forms of research supporting Intellectual Property development for BCG publications and client materials.In May 2018 I graduated SUNY Binghamton University with a double Major in Economics and PPL(Philosophy, Politics and Law) along with a minor in Russian Studies. I have interned for Congresswoman Kathleen Rice in the House of Representatives and Andrei Illianarov, the former economic adviser of the Russian Federation and current Russian dissident/scholar at the Cato Institute.
