New photography projects, commissions, teaching and design research considers how collective memories form and influence contemporary visual and spatial realities, legal procedures and pictorial archives. Urban research and photography practice utilises audio-visual participatory processes and architectural spaces to trigger collective or public memories, thus activating new discourse about migration, city planning and regeneration processes, social conflict / cohesion, spatial assimilation and integration in world cities.
