About David Kalbeitzer
David Kalbeitzer is the Executive in charge of the Digital Studio at Walt Disney Imagineering. Prior to this role, he was the Sr. Media Producer for the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction in the Disney Animal Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida and the Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure attraction for the Disney Shanghai park. Before joining Walt Disney Imagineering, David served as a Production Executive at DreamWorks Animation and a Producer for Sony Pictures Imageworks with over 20 years of experience in feature animation and visual effects on such projects as The Amazing Spider-Man, Hotel Transylvania, G-Force, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Surf’s Up. A film and psychology graduate of Boston University, and a PGA member, David’s passion for storytelling, filmmaking, animation, and the creation of immersive experiences has driven him to continuously explore new opportunities in this ever-changing landscape.
