Go ahead and read the whole thing. What I want to do when I grow up Story #1 W.E.D. When I was about 16 I traveled to Los Angeles and called W.E.D. Enterprises. I got an interview. A gentleman looked at my resume, asked some questions and said I had “an interesting background”. Then he asked would I like a tour. I don’t remember what all I saw. I had missed the dinosaurs that had just shipped to New York. I did get to walk through the model for Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I do remember that this was what I wanted to do when I grew up. Story #2 W.E.D. Years later… I’m working as an assistant Director on a film at Disney’s Burbank studio. My assistant is Cardin Walker Jr, son of the president of Disney at the time. He was a smart guy, a hard worker and liked to visit W.E.D. So off we went. When you tour with the president’s son, you get a better tour. Again this is what I want to do when I grow up. Story #3 Universal Creative Got to work as a consultant for Harry Potter figuring out the technology for the living portraits and living newspapers. Almost there now. Started back with Creative in July 2015! Model Shop Supervisor for Universal Creative. Yes I\'m living the dream. 2020 Covid 19 full stop. Overly optimistic looking forward to next year.
