Managing the Health & Safety department. Liaising with principal designers, clients and architects for pre-construction information for each project in order to complete bespoke construction phase H&S plans- Responsible for investigation, analysis and mitigation of accidents and implementation of preventative measures- Liaise with HSE and company solicitors on H&S matters where necessary- Visit sites and carry out site inspections and audits, carry out toolbox talks and H&S presentations- Compile monthly H&S reports and action plans for company directors. As a fully qualified and certified CIEH ‘Train the Trainer course’ participant I also train employees in site safe working subjects such as method statements, operating procedures, risk assessments, working at height, first aid, COSHH, manual handling, Personal Protective Equipment, Electrical Safety Assessment and more.
