TheTalentPeople is an organisation that helps connect the next generation of talent with employers and educators. We operate the UK\'s #1 Talent website - GetMyFirstJob.co.uk - as well as providing our award winning Applicant Tracking System and media services to organisations engaged in the EmergingTalent agenda. We now have over candidates working with more than 100 of the largest and best known training providers, employers, Universities and Colleges in the UK from areas as diverse as engineering to accountancy and IT to animal care.We are a social enterprise - and proud of it. As a result of our efforts, over people were better informed about the options open to them, and over started their careers through opportunities our platforms had managed.

ABOUT DAVID ALLISON
Having co-founded TheTalentPeople and the #1 careers website - GetMyFirstJob.co.uk - in 2011, I now act as the CEO of the business with a focus on helping get people from every background into opportunities which are right for them. TheTalentPeople is a social enterprise that has developed a market leading digital platform for recruitment of the next generation of talent – with individual resources for individuals, careers advisors, employers and training providers. Our mission is to help people make well informed choices about the options open to them as well as supporting organisations to inspire and attract the next generation of talent. Since the business started, over people have registered with us to explore their options. I\'m fortunate enough to be able to combine this with other work supporting education. I\'ve served as a Trustee / NED of NCFE (one of the largest UK awarding bodies) and have served as a governor at three different schools in recent years. In Jan 2014, I was designated by the National College of Teaching and Learning as a National Leader of Governance. I\'ve also been an Enterprise Adviser supporting local schools with their careers programmes, as well as a speaker on Engineering and Entrepreneurship with Speakers for Schools. Finally, I love teaching itself and have worked with the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University on under and postgraduate programmes in the UK and on international programmes.To find out more about the next generation of talent visit
