My job is to help Aviva understand how well its transformation is going — before it\'s too late to do anything about it.That means building the reporting and frameworks that track performance across delivery, financials and risk for a £0.8bn portfolio spanning 12 markets and 200+ programmes. Not just backward-looking. Built to see around corners.What that\'s looked like in practice:I stepped in to turn around a Group-wide system implementation that was heading off the rails. My manager wrote:\"I am convinced that Planview would have been a failure if not for David\'s interventions and actions.\"Built the transformation performance framework from scratch. Common data standards, KPIs and dashboards, now used in Executive Committee reporting. It had been attempted twice before without success.Consolidated £800m of transformation planning from 12 markets and functions into one coherent picture for the first time.Asked to sort a supplier negotiation nobody had resolved. Did the analysis, built the case, led the negotiation. Brought a proposed 13% price increase down to 5%, saving Aviva c.£200k.Recognised with Aviva\'s Golden Rhino award, the CFO\'s quarterly recognition for exceptional contribution.
