Currently leading Coventry City Council\'s Economic Strategy & Funding Team, which has responsibility for designing and securing funds for major economic development programmes within Coventry & Warwickshire. Promoted from previous roles in the Authority, including Programmes Officer, Funding Officer and Programme Development Manager. Duties have included- Leading delivery of Coventry and Warwickshire\'s ERDF and ESF Technical Assistance services. This entailed developing the area\'s ESIF Strategy, designing major SME support, innovation and youth employment programmes (securing £30m of EU funding), and advising capital projects (£35m EU funding)- Managing the Coventry & Warwickshire Innovation Programme (£1.7m ERDF funding targeted at SMEs)- Managing the Coventry & Warwickshire Small Business Loans Fund, providing loans of up to £75k (£1m ERDF and government funding)- Developing Coventry & Warwickshire\'s Growth Deal, securing £130m of government funding for infrastructure projects- Leading the Authority\'s input into transnational projects focusing on economic development (Interreg and ESPON funding)- Writing bids to secure funding from major EU and UK government sources.
