ABOUT DAVID H.

The bedrock of my career is process improvement. In my broad experiences, I have applied Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality tools to improve physical and transactional processes, saving over $34MM so far. I have designed and improved processes with industrial and manufacturing engineering principles. I enjoy working with data and statistics to solve problems. In addition to innumerable projects involving statistical data analysis, I have published nine peer-reviewed journal articles, all involving statistical analysis. I also have experience in many areas of industrial automation, including robot and PLC installation, programming, cost justification, and troubleshooting, system design, sensor utilization, and systems integration. Above all, my leadership skills allow me to be a highly effective servant leader, placing the focus on enabling my team members\'​ best work by providing the tools and skills they require for their own success, and thereby the team\'s success. My degrees in Industrial Technology all focused on the principles of industrial automation, electronics, and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc). I am certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ CSSBB), Senior Technology Manager (ATMAE CSTM), and Manufacturing Technologist (SME CMfgT).Specialties: I have held roles in management (Quality and Engineering), Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt/Regional Master Black Belt), and engineering (Process, Manufacturing, Quality, Robotics). I have trained people in topics of Lean, Six Sigma, automation, electronics, statistics, and manufacturing management, at five accredited colleges and universities across the Midwest, as well as several businesses.
