ABOUT DAVID H.
With over two decades of dedicated expertise in the geotechnical industry, I have been fortunate to contribute to major infrastructure projects like Crossrail, HS2, and the Lower Thames Crossing. My approach combines technical rigour with a genuine enthusiasm for promoting best practices in every project I undertake together with mentoring teams to achieve this goal. Since joining GeoAccess, one of only a few companies with over 10 years of proven experience in delivering cyclical earthwork examinations and rapid-response assessments for Network Rail, I have played a key role in building and guiding a technical team that now significantly enhances delivery for our principal client, Network Rail. I have also been instrumental in strengthening partnerships with Tier 1 contractors through the successful delivery of bespoke earthworks examination packages and prompt response assessments to address failures on the national rail network. Additionally, I have actively delivered proactive projects, including rock and soil slope stability assessments together with recommendations for remedial works. Plus, I have developed and delivered a training package for new earthworks examiners to the business.My career to-date has offered me many diverse opportunities which include: building and leading a team, project management, technical supervision, and quality assurance, all underpinned by a commitment to integrity and precision. Colleagues recognise me for consistently delivering high-quality results, driven by my passion for excellence and collaborative teamwork.In my new role as Head of GeoInspections, I have the exciting opportunity to build upon past successes, supporting my clients in ensuring safety, performance, and resilience of their geotechnical assets.
