ABOUT DAVID HENDRIKSE

I began my professional career in architecture in 1985. I hold two degrees from the University of Kansas, a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the School of Engineering. Because of this and having worked within multi-disciplined A/E firms, I have a strong understanding of all disciplines involved in the design and construction of the built environment. I am able to coordinate and integrate requirements for the architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural and electrical systems in cost effective and functional facilities. I have a strong understanding of and experience with Design/Build, Construction Management and other “fast-track” delivery methods. I also have extensive experience in construction administration which has provided me with the knowledge to understand how a facility must come together. Specific project type experience includes senior housing, multi-family housing, milirtary privatization projects, fleet maintenance facilities, warehouse/distribution (including multiple temeprature zones), manufacturing facilities, educational facilities (public, private, secondary and university), industrial facilities and government projects. with the military.
