We move South Dakota history forward-Lead the $20 million renovation and modernization of a 1989 technologically advanced and fuel efficient Cultural Heritage Center (CHC)-Participated in statewide listening sessions in developing a new exhibit-Coordinated moving collections prior to renovation-Lead hands-on the return of staff to CHC in October 2024-Updated policies and professional practices-Assisted with America’s 250 planning leading the Time Capsule Subcommittee and participated in two regional working groups (Midwest & West)-Supervised active collecting, risk management, and major exhibition development-Researched the history of South Dakota State Historical Society from 1862-present-Filled in for the director as needed.
