ABOUT DAVID GONZALEZ
Over the past 20+ years, I have acquired extensive experience in delivering cutting-edge training solutions, building cohesive organizational cultures, executing best-in-class talent management strategies, and optimizing employee compensation to drive up to 35% growth and 20% labor cost reductions while driving strategic change, organizational development, and business continuity for a global manufacturing leader. Accomplishments: Attained a 35% sales growth and record profitability over four years at Hoerbiger by collaborating with Sales and Operations to devise and implement new business plan. Drove a 20% reduction in direct labor costs and record production levels at Hoerbiger by leveraging productivity improvement measures while overseeing the consolidation of manufacturing operations of two states. Partnered with local businesses to establish a State Certified Machining Apprentice Program to supplement the lack of machinist training programs while also working with local technical high schools and colleges to develop their machining and manufacturing career education. Secured $2.7M in a QRT training grants for multiple programs at Hoerbiger as well as several IWT training grants of over $500K+ improving the bottom line cost of training new and incumbent workers. Sourced and deployed Hoerbiger’s first Learning Management System (LMS) for the North America Region while internally developing and introducing a computer-based training program for new hire onboarding, annual OSHA training, and job qualification certification supporting ISO 9001. At this present time, I\'m excited to share my knowledge and expertise as a collaborative hands on problem solver with proven leadership skills who builds high-performing teams (with exceptional employee satisfaction and engagement scores) while facilitating strategic decision-making by senior management in the south east region.
