About David Gonzalez
I started my career in wind energy as an Installation Technical Advisor and Commissioner contracting for GE. After several years and a couple other jobs, I finally decided to make the move to GE as a services technician. Started as a Tech II, then later holding a Site Quality Coordinator role, followed by the EHS Coordinator role, then later received Tech After several years of holding a Tech 3/EHS Coordinator position, I applied for and was taken into the role of EHS Specialist.I\'m also on the fire department as a Volunteer Firefighter and I\'ve also obtained my EMT certification.I have since left GE and am now working for Nordex as a Regional HSE Officer covering our Technical Backoffice Department, which handles our blade repairs and major component exchanges. I lead incident investigations by performing root-cause investigations utilizing TapRooT methodology.

Support multiple sites throughout multiple areas in all operations where our Technical Back Office teams are present, whether it be major component exchanges or blade repairs. Perform event analysis, root cause analysis. Performed site audits and recommended corrective actions for items identified to be out of compliance with laws or best practices. Also sat in on our HSE Annual Document Review calls which were held every 2 weeks, to review documents prior to them being rolled out into the field.
