ABOUT DAVID GÖZ

What if marketing was treated less like communication and more like a driver of direction, relevance, and lasting growth? That question sits at the centre of how I think and work. To me, marketing is one of the most misunderstood levers in business. At its best, it does far more than promote. It helps shape decisions, sharpen positioning, deepen customer understanding, and build brands and strategies that stand the test of time.My focus lies at the intersection of marketing strategy, growth strategy, brand positioning, and customer-centric business thinking. What matters most are clear, commercially relevant ideas that create long-term value, not short-term noise or trend-led activity.By day, I work full-time in strategy and concept development within a creative brand consultancy. Alongside that, I also work independently with selected clients across marketing strategy services, brand positioning, and fractional CMO support. That combination keeps me close to both complex brand work and entrepreneurial reality.I also host Evergreen Playbook, a podcast exploring timeless ideas in branding, business, and marketing through conversations with thoughtful founders, strategists, and operators.Outside of work, running plays a big role in how I think and live. Covering 30 to 40 kilometres a week has taught me a lot about consistency, endurance, and the kind of progress that compounds over time. Probably one reason why I care so much about strategies built for the long run.Always interested in connecting with ambitious people, strong ideas, and brands that want to grow with more depth, clarity, and substance.
