I am a Registered Patent Attorney, patent and trademark litigation attorney and (recently) a Certified Mediator (Texas). As a natural extension of my IP work, I also advise clients on Export Control issues. I carry on my private practice as a partner of Munck, Wilson & Mandela, where I recently joined to head it’s new Waco, Texas office. I travel (as pilot) on cases and projects throughout the U.S, as my various client needs, cases and patent and trademark projects dictate. In areas in which I do not practice law, I provide IP consulting for businesses seeking to strategically identify, protect and exploit their intellectual property assets. To further keep matters interesting, my principle residence is near Baylor University in Waco, Texas. For 28 years now, I have served in a number of capacities at Baylor, including (since 1994) that of Professor of Patent and Trademark Law and Litigation, Faculty Advisor to several undergraduate student organizations, and member of Baylor\'s Judicial Board. My ability to pilot myself to and from a non-hub city is that which allows me to reside in the Waco area. Since the arrival of Judge Albright to our Federal Bench, and the emergence of the Waco court as the largest patent litigation docket in the U.S, Waco has transitioned from a nice place to live while I serve in my various Baylor-related roles, to also the center of many of my legal career activities.
