ABOUT DAVID GARCIA CAÑADAS

I’m a Senior Product Designer with 4+ years of experience in Berlin’s startup ecosystem, specializing in complex, data-heavy B2B products — most recently designing for an AI-driven product. I often work in small, collaborative product teams, partnering with product, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. I typically own the solution space, while supporting PMs in the problem space through planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research. This mix of collaboration and ownership has given me a strong foundation in both strategy and craft. I thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with high autonomy—breaking down abstract problems, exploring options, and making thoughtful trade-offs, while also communicating clearly with stakeholders to present design rationale and drive alignment. I’m known for a positive, can-do mindset and a genuine care for colleagues and users. My curiosity drives me to ask questions and dig deeper, while my creativity helps me explore new angles and possibilities. Outside of work, I’m usually on the mats training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking in the mountains, experimenting in the kitchen, or spinning house records at home.
